Amanda Carman is a fantasy illustrator and writer who was raised on fantasy stories, science fiction television series, and an unrelenting stream of animal factoids. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berry College’s Studio Arts and Honors programs. While at Berry, she was the organizer of the twice-annual Arts and Crafts Festival, co-president of the Art Society, and general goofball of the Easy Baked Improv Troupe. She’s had a short story published in an anthology and currently runs her own art business, Carmanda Arts Things, creating illustrations for writers, musicians, and filmmakers. When she’s not drawing monsters or writing stories, she’s podcasting about folktales, exhibiting at festivals or conventions, and teaching her cat Cricket how to dance.
