We are honored to exhibit the works of the eleven exceptionally talented African American women artists participating in Phenomenal Woman.  These artists embody the spirit of Elizabeth Catlett, the dean of African American women artists.  While each explores her unique artistic vision, their works are unquestionbly inforrmed by their experiences as Black Women.  Their works celebrate and illuminate a rich and complex legacy evident in the diversity of mediums and expression of the work.

The exhibition is free and open to the public from January 29th-March 3rd during the regular open hours of the Johns Creek Arts Center.  Opening reception  February 3rd from 6-7:30 PM.  Refreshmnts will be served, and everyone is invited to attend.
