Sistagraphy Collective: Georgia on Our Minds

Next Exhibit

This exhibition is dedicated to the memory and legacy of the late shelia turner, founder of Sistagraphy. Turner’s visionary leadership created a vehicle for Black women photographers to exhibit their work in Atlanta. The organization continues her legacy…

A note to our visitors: In honor of Ms. turner her name will appear in lowercase letters, as was her preference when used professionally.

Major funding for this program is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. The Johns Creek Arts Center would like to thank the Fulton County Board of commissioners as well as Fulton County Arts & Culture for making this exhibition possible. Many thanks to the Curator and Program Director, Althea Foster; Director, Stephanie Donaldson; Web design, Kristen Lewkowitz and the entire team at the Johns Creek Arts Center for their many efforts in the coordination and administration of the exhibition. Special thanks to Sistagraphy and all of the artists involved for sharing their talents and creativity with our Arts Center community.
