Week 9 Intermediate Drawing and Painting Camp 3rd-5th: Native American Culture
Start Date: July 26, 2021
End Date: July 30, 2021
Instructor: Amanda Jones
Did you know that some Native American tribes were the first people in America to cultivate the use of plants and minerals to make dyes, and paints? Learn how they did that, make some beautiful Native American inspired art using feathers, learn about their horses, homes, and clothing,  work on "leather", and we'll take a virtual field trip to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

Children can explore their creativity in our hands-on arts camps. JCAC art camps introduce children to a wide range of art making techniques and mediums, from watercolors, to acrylic painting, drawing and so much more! You can rest assured your child is in a supervised, creative environment making art and new friends.

The arts center cares about your health and safety, therefore, masks are required for all students and staff.
