There is so much more to art than drawing and painting.
This camp will offer students the opportunity to explore a variety of other materials (yarn, threads, wire, polymer clay, etc.) to create fantastic projects of three dimensional works. An exciting and fun way to combine materials while building skills and learning new techniques.
We will also explore the basics of print making, an art form used by famous artists like Andy Wharhol, Pablo Picasso and Eric Carle (The Very Hungry Caterpillar). Printmaking applies the basic techniques for graphic design. Campers will learn to make a mono print, the first step in printing, and then apply the principles they have learned to create a unique piece of art.
Masks required for all campers.
