A small collection of authentic vintage clothing and accessories will be on display at the Johns Creek Arts Center on Saturday March 11th from 10 AM to 12:30 PM for this life drawing event. Bring your sketchbook and drawing supplies and enjoy this rare opportunity to observe real vintage clothing in person. This is an open event; for $10 you can stay and sketch for the full 2 1/2 hours or choose to come for as long as you'd like. The clothes will displayed on mannequins, so you can really focus on the clothing details while still getting an idea of how they would fit on a human form.
The clothing is provided by Susan Rochfort, host of the "Antiques and Estate Jewelry" show on the American Value Channel, sumulcast on Dish Network channel 87 and 276 and Direct TV channel 224. It is part of a collection which will be showcased on Sunday March 19th at the St. Ives Country Club during a Vintage Fashion and Jewelry Show, complete with High Tea. Tickets for the event will be available during the life drawing session, so if you're interested in seeing the fashion show and experiencing a high tea (complete with finger sandwiches, fruits, pastries, and desserts from vintage recipes) be sure to bring a check (or cash) for $38 made out to Susan Rochfort.
