In this intensive three day workshop students will learn the technique of pouring, puddling and dripping fluid acrylic paint onto primed canvas. This innovative technique uses gravity and the artist's movement and manipulation of the canvas rather traditional brushes or palette knives to create a painting. The artist is able to achieve a fluid, luminous result unlike anything that can be achieved with a brush. In this class the students collaborate on a project and experiment with wet onto dry, wet onto wet and wet into wet techniques. Students will work on several projects as expertise develops with repeated pouring practice. Sissy is available after class for students who want additional help.
