Join Ampersand Ambassador, Debra Yaun for this two day Scratchbord workshop.

Learn basic scratchboard techniques using a variety of tools, most supplied by the instructor.  Students will learn about scratchboard materials that are available. Everyone will be given 2 5"x7" Ampersand Scratchbords. One for practicing and one for a project, as well as a sample size board.

Held 10 am - 3 pm on Saturday, May 21 and Saturday, May 28 in the Johns Creek Arts Center Annex, 6290 Abbotts Bridge Rd, Bldg. 600

The first Saturday will be the initial drawing, any unfinished scratching on the drawing can be worked on at home to be ready for the Color application on the second Saturday.  Ampersand Color ink will be supplied as well as some other types of colors to try for the second Saturday.

All students need to bring is an exacto knife with a #11 blade and a white watercolor pencil.
