In this beginner to intermediate level class students will learn the basic techniques of creating with soft pastels.

The most widely used form of pastel, soft pastels come in an array of vibrant colors, blend easily and offer a flexibility other mediums lack (it's a nice change from mixing colors!)  Join Linda McGinn as she guides you in applying your drawing skills to this enduring medium.

SUPPLY LIST:

Set of 48 assorted color pastels (or more) strongly suggest Rembrandt brand  (not oil pastels!)

Vine charcoal

Canson pastel paper and/or sanded paper

Kneaded eraser

Pastel pencils (optional)
