This workshop will provide tips and techniques for creating a beautiful impressionist work using a palette knife and acrylic paint. Painting with a palette knife allows artists to create a variety of interesting edges, textures, and layers in a more relaxed manner.  This is a great class for all ability levels, especially beginners.

Suggested Supply List For 1/23 Palette Knife Workshop 

Acrylic Paint in Tube (Approx.4oz):

 Titanium White

Cadmium Yellow Light

Cadmium Yellow Medium

Cadmium Red Medium

Cerulean Blue

Ultramarine Blue

Stretched Canvases:

(1) 5'x7'

(1) 11'x14'

Metal Palette Knife: Optional  (We will supply plastic knives however the metal work better) Purchase metal palette knife with diamond/pie shape. Size: Approx. 2' long,

We will supply incidentals such as paper plate palettes, paper towels, paintbrushes, paper, gel medium, plastic palette knives

In addition to suggested supplies, please feel free to bring any additional acrylic paint colors, palette knife sizes/shapes and paintbrushes may have.
