Art is a creative catalyst that stimulates both imagination and thought process.  In this class students will create a unique piece of art every week.  With guidance from their teacher, they will then *write a short, expressive narrative incorporating various writing traits.  Lessons for journal writing will encourage descriptive adjectives, compare and contrast, and transitions.  At the end of the class students will have the opportunity to share their piece.
