Geared towards students with additional, adaptive needs, the workshop aims to provide a safe environment for students to explore their creativity with confidence. Class size is limited so students can more comfortably build a personal connection with their peers and the teacher. Parents/guardians are encouraged to remain in the building for the duration of the class, but are advised not to interfere during instruction time so students may develop independence in a secure setting.
Projects will incorporate a variety of media and will tie into educational topics which align with the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Lesson plans will be sent out prior to each workshop, so parents/guardians may review the material beforehand.
To make the classes as accessible as possible, fees will be kept to a minimum; we only ask that you cover the cost of supplies. Please let us know if your student requires any specific equipment or assistance (or anything at all that will make their experience more comfortable)!
***Please note class does not meet Saturday July 9th***
MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL YOUTH STUDENTS
