Take an 8-week journey to personal wellness with an experienced coach and registered nurse! Set SMART goals, learn good eating and movement habits, create a vision board, and practice self-compassion and stress management for a healthy mind and body.
Requirements: pen or pencil, a spiral lined notebook for notes and journaling, foam core board or similar for the vision board project
Bonus: you will have the opportunity to complete a wellbeing assessment and receive a free 30-minute telephone strategy session with Coach Nadine prior to the last class. A private Facebook group will also be set up after the first class for participants interested in additional accountability and support :).
A Personal Message from Coach Nadine: Six years ago I turned 50. That milestone led to some self-reflection. I was gaining weight year by year, though my diet hadn't changed. I was out of shape. I was tired and depleted much of the time. I was peri-menopausal and all that it entails. My world was shrinking and I was retreating socially. I desperately wanted to lose weight, get into shape and re-claim my mojo. I wanted to master a healthy lifestyle. I wanted to put an end to poor energy and yo-yo dieting. I lost 20 pounds and got into the best shape of my life without ever stepping foot into a gym. Six years later, I have remained committed to a healthy lifestyle and reap the rewards daily. In 2013, I added Certified Health and Wellness Coach to my resume. My life's passion is to give other women the tools to master a healthy lifestyle, sensibly! Whether you want to lose weight, reduce the need for medication, stop smoking or embrace a healthier lifestyle in general, group coaching is powerful! This course fits in nicely with JCAC's other offerings because it is about creative thinking, suspending judgment and becoming more curious!
