GAgives is a program of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits.
For over 26 years, the Johns Creek Arts Center, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, has committed to enriching the lives of people living in our local area, by providing quality arts instruction and inclusive outreach programming that is accessible by all members of our diverse community.
In partnership with other non-profits, our expansive outreach opportunities provide art experiences for marginalized audiences including members of the BIPOC community, people experiencing homelessness, senior citizens, and persons who are differently-abled. This translates to more than 100 programs annually at venues stretching to a 25-mile radius of the arts center.
In terms of programming, the Johns Creek Arts Center reaches an audience of 12,137, making us the second busiest arts center in Georgia.
Our success stems from the center’s dedication to making a profound impact on our community, and providing our audiences with art enrichment that is culturally reflective of our audience, and of consistent high-quality. In 2021, Johns Creek Arts Center received recognition by the Georgia Senate, House of Representatives and Fulton County for our outreach programs.
Every gift received through A Greater Give empowers the Johns Creek Arts Center to continue to bring art classes, workshops, events and exhibitions, to the youth and adults in our area, and to expand upon our services in order to meet the creative needs of a greater number of residents.
