Amanda Carman: Fantasy and Wildlife Illustration
I have been illustrating for more than ten years, working with independent musicians and filmmakers in addition to creating my own works. I enjoy creating art inspired by folklore, fantasy, and food. I like exploring the juxtaposition between the fantastical and the mundane, capturing small everyday moments as experienced by fantasy wildlife or monsters. In addition to my illustration work, I co-host What the Folklore?, a comedy podcast with an international following. Check out more of my work at carmandaartsthings.com or Carmanda Arts Things on Instagram.

I’m Ruth Jones – a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in drawing and painting. I’ve sold my work around the world and in many states!
