FAQ Summer Camp  

 

Q: Do I register my child for thier current grade or their rising grade (the grade they are going into)?

A: Please register your child according to their RISING grade.

 

Q: Do you offer a sports camp?  

A: No, we do not offer sports. Our concentration is primarily visual arts. However, our campers love to exercise their imagination and creativity! Our ‘Clay’ campers definitely get a work out of their small motor coordination skills!  

 

Q: Do you offer early drop off / before camp child care?

A: No, we do not offer early drop off or before camp child care. Camp begins at 9am, the earliest you may drop your child off is 8:45am

 

Q: Do you offer after care?

A: No, we no longer offer After Care.

 

Q: What if I am late picking up my child from camp?

A: We understand things happen. Our camp day ends at 3pm. We offer a 15 minute grace period when picking your child up from camp. Beginning at 3:16pm a $15 late fee will be charged to the account and additional $1/per minute thereafter. 

 

Q: I am planning to send my child to camp for only part of a week. Will you pro-rate the price?

A: No, we do not pro-rate.

 

Q: Is lunch provided?

A: No, we do not provide lunch. Please send your child to camp with a sack lunch that does NOT require refrigeration or microwave use. We ask that you be mindful of possible allergies and that your lunch is nut free. Please remember to include a water bottle or drink as our water fountain is currently turned off.

 

Q: Is a snack provided?

A: No, we do not provide snacks.  Please provide a snack for your child.

 

Q: What should I send with my child to camp?

A: Please send your child to camp with a nut free sack lunch, a snack, and a water bottle. If your child is staying for After Care, please send them with an additional snack for after camp time.

 

Q: What should my child wear to camp?

A: Art can be messy, please dress your child accordingly.

 

Q: What is a typical camp day like?

A: Below you will find a typical camp day schedule. Please understand that this is only a TYPICAL schedule. Some camps, especially camps designed for our younger campers may have more outside time or additional breaks to their day.

9AM Camp begins and so does art projects and instruction

10:30AM Snack Break ( please pack a snack for your child) and outside playtime

12PM Lunch and a movie.

1PM back to art project and instruction

2:30PM clean up time
