Through partnerships with local social service agencies, the arts center provides free access to arts services to under-served, low-income youth who face significant barriers to arts and cultural experiences. These collaborative efforts allow the arts center to customize its programs to suit the needs and interests of the specific audience and provide the services in venues that are easily accessible. Activities include regularly scheduled classes as well as seasonal camps and special workshops – all of which engage young people who otherwise would not have access to such arts programs.
