Lynn Weisbach
Lynn Weisbach received herBachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. She worked professionally as a Graphic Designer where, among other awards, she received the Mead Graphics Award rating her work fifth in the nation for editorial design. In 1992 she returned to her first love of painting. She is a signature member of both the Georgia Watercolor Society and the Southern Watercolor Society, and is an Associate member of the National Watercolor Society and the International Association of Experimental Artists.
Lynn’s award winning work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in and around the Southeast. She was a feature guest on Today’s Woman television show and is a feature artist in the NorthLight Books publication Creative Design and Composition written by Pat Dews. Her painting Split Decision was chosen to be a part of the Colson Printing Calendar in 2003. In addition to numerous corporate and private collections Lynn’s work is in the permanent collections of the Cultural Arts Center of Douglasville, GA and the John Marlor Art Center in Milledgeville, GA.
She was chosen to paint a cow for the International Cow Parade held in Atlanta, GA. “Miss Udder Putter” was selected for the Cow Parade T-Shirt, published in the Cow Parade Book and was selected to be an international miniature collectable
Lynn teaches workshops and classes in contemporary watermedia techniques, design and two and three dimensional mixed media. In addition she also is a judge and juror for art shows in and around the Southeast.
