Workshop: Chinese Brush Painting - Session 3
Wednesday April 21 from 10am to 1pm
All students must begin with Session 1, and then can register for any or all of the other sessions.
Chinese Brush Painting, with its emphasis on the beauty of simplicity, flowing brush strokes, and graceful designs, reflects time-honored principles of Chinese philosophy and culture.  You will learn to work with bamboo brushes, using watercolor on rice paper.  You will also learn color theories while loading the brushes with the three primary colors plus black and white.  You will develop confidence in your painting through demonstrations, individual instructions, practice and logical composition.  This is ideal for people with or without previous art training.

**For Adults and Children ages 10 and up**
All workshops accommodate family members of different ages.  Taking the class together strengthens the relationship between family members and multiplies the joy of sharing artistic expression with one another.
